DMLA’s 2020 Conference Goes All-Digital

With two global keynotes, 8 expert panels and 18 in-depth roundtables, The Digital Media Licensing Conference, October 25-30, is not to be missed.

DMLA is covering all the hot topics in its first all-digital conference, with networking opportunities throughout.

We could not have envisioned a better kickoff.

Our opening Keynote Speaker, Paolo Malabuyo, a creative leader and educator, will set our annual DMLA conference on an exciting path through a discussion on how to drive innovation in the midst of complexity. On Day 2 we start with a timely keynote presentation from Adobe’s Andy Parsons on the Content Authenticity Initiative, announced last year at Adobe Max in partnership with the New York Times and Twitter.

With social platforms amplifying the reach and influence of certain content, trust in media is eroding. Inauthentic content is on the rise. And DMLA is now working with CAI to inform and educate the industry on this critical initiative.

Hot Topics in Legal panel is one of the most popular of DMLA’s annual conference. This year we could not squeeze everything into an hour, so we branched out and gave one — Section 512 Reform — its own roundtable. This will allow DMLA's law warriors time to cover all the vital matters. Other topics include, social media issues, drones, best practices in licensing enforcement, updates on the CASE Act, and for visual journalists, how to handle arrests.

Talk About Networking!

This 25th DMLA Conference will offer plenty of opportunities to network, including our opening virtual cocktail party and dedicated networking sessions after each panel, because getting to know each other is a core benefit of the DMLA community.

This is also the year to discover the benefits of sponsorship. To have an onscreen presence throughout the Conference and beyond, check out the latest, exciting opportunities on the Sponsorship Menu. More details on how to sponsor can be found on our Sponsorship Page.

The conference schedule bridges many time zones, allowing participation from around the world. So, start sharing details with your network and be sure to register ASAP.
